This will be a most relaxing and enjoyable event, attended by many Wiccans, Druids, Heathens and other Earth-centered, spiritual folk, in the beautiful pine and oak forests of southern New Jersey.

Here are a few highlights of what you can expect:

Norse Symbel (Old English: 'Ale Gathering’)
This is a historically verified and fun ritual honoring and connecting us with the Deities, Heroes and Kin. Rounds of toasts, boasts and oaths are made, spoken over a large drinking horn, opening the Well of Wyrd. Bring your favorite fancy drinking vessel and beverage of choice. You can also bring nuts, crackers, chips or other snacks to share. The Symbel will be held in our Feasting Hall, which you can help decorate with wall-hangings, ribbons, flowers (real or artificial) or any other decorations that you think would make it more festive. This is an awesome community-building event!

$Money Magic$
This workshop will explore the ethics and effectiveness of using Magick for financial gain. Learn a wonderful spell to increase your wealth! ($1 precipitation to go into a lottery pool)

Youth Activities
Supervised activities for youth of all ages. These may include nature walks, crafts projects, games, swimming etc.

Pie-Baking Contest
We will proudly honor the crafty person who conjures the best Magick in the kitchen!

Drumming Workshop
"Masmoudi, Beladi and Basic Melody"
Yes, that banging noisemaker CAN actually make music! Weather permitting, White-Elk will run a beginners drum workshop, showing basic, established and ancient Middle-Eastern-type rhythms.

From super-energetic fast ones to hauntingly-sensual slow ones, you'll learn how to recognize them, how to play them and what's REALLY important... how to get beautiful people to dance for you all night long!

Please bring your own Doumbek, Djembe or Tabla. A study guide will be provided for each participant and success IS guaranteed!

Pagan Auction
Bring books, charms, knick-knacks, doo-dads and gee-gaws and contribute them to our Charity Auction, to benefit the fine work of Red Oak Grove and Garden State Pagan Alliance. Bring a little spare cash and bid on great deals on arcane knowledge, incense, oils, wonderful little potion bottles, and all sorts of strange and delightful things. We'll clean out our junk drawers, fill 'em up again with new stuff, and have a lot of fun doing it!

Fabulous Feast
Featuring favorites from our very own families, our Feast will BE our Main Ritual as we surround ourselves with the abundance of our Mothers and give back our gratitude with love. Yes! We will need your help for this! And as always, anyone bringing a dish will receive a $5.00 discount on admission!

Bardic Competition
Showcasing the best Songs, Poems, Stories and Satires of our Folk. This is your chance to step-up do your stuff! A unique and beautiful prize will be awarded for the best entry in each of these four areas.

Bodine Field
This is a primitive campsite… and our favourite. Even though there are no showers, electricity or flush toilets, there is a clean and spacious Porta-Pottie with nearby pumps with fresh, cold well-water. We’ll be bringing a few tables, but if you can bring one too, it would certainly help. Best of all, there is a beautiful cedar-water river that runs RIGHT next to the site. If it’s warm, Kids of all ages will love taking a swim to cool off and get clean, any time you feel like it. At its deepest point the water is only about three feet deep, and the current is very mild, so it’s safe for anyone who can swim even a little. (But parents, you must watch your own kids at all times.)

Food
We will provide coffee and light breakfast on Saturday morning, a Feast on Saturday evening and a pancake breakfast on Sunday. Other meals are on-your-own, or pot-luck. To cut down on waste and dish-washing, we request everyone to bring their own plate, bowl, cup & utensils, and wash your own stuff after meals. Thank you!
