Sarah's
Bio for the Red Oak Grove Website
My favorite beast: Wolfram - of course! Which is a good thing, because I spend most of my free time taking him out hiking. While he is following the trails of wild animals, I’m usually being amazed by nature - over and over again. Occasionally, he is patient enough to allow me to say a few prayers or do a short ritual. My favorite vacation: Heading out to find stone circles in Britain with OS maps in one hand and a compass in the other.
My favorite place: The Ring of Brodgar, Orkney, Scotland. Simply, the most amazing place I have ever been too.
My favorite nanogenerian: My grandma! The only woman I know who can wear a pink boa and rhinestone tiara at her 90th birthday party and make it all seem perfectly natural.
My favorite grove: Red Oak Grove, of course! They really understand Celtic hospitality and put it in action. When I came to my first event, alone I might add, the welcome that I received from the grove members was truly wonderful and put me at ease right away. It was like seeing old friends you’ve known forever, but were meeting for the first time.
