Becoming a Member of Red Oak Grove

Most of our Rituals and events are free and open to the public and we really enjoy having visitors to our meetings and Rituals. You are welcome to attend them as often as you like without any expectation that you will become a member. We call non-members ‘Gwesti’, which is Welsh for ‘Guest’ and we try to make every Guest feel welcomed at all times.

On the other hand, we are an open, public organization that grants membership to any decent, friendly person who wants to join. Members have additional rights and privileges such as voting, holding office and attendance at special members-only rituals. Members have additional obligations, as well, such as paying dues and taking parts in rituals.

Members also gain a lot of satisfaction from belonging to a close group of like-minded folks, who enjoy spending time together and have a lot in common. We get together to talk, play games, watch movies, listen to music and delight in each other’s company.

But perhaps the greatest benefits of membership are from helping to nurture and promote an important religious group and from the special educational and spiritual training that we can provide.

If you have attended a few of our events and would like to become a member, you are most welcome to, just let us know. We call the first level of membership ‘Cyfaill’, which is Welsh for ‘Friend’ and we try to make our Friends feel loved and cared for.

After a few months some Cyfaill ask to become full voting members of Red Oak Grove. We call full members ‘Tylwyth’ which is Welsh for ‘Clan’ and we try to make all Tylwyth feel like part of our family.
