GETTING TO FALL FEST BY PUBLIC TRANSIT From Center City
1st, Let us know you are doing this, and what your intended schedule is for arriving and departing.
If we can (and there's no guarentee), we'll try and arrange a ride from the train station to the park!
2nd: Catch the R3 Regional Rail train on Saturday morning. The train costs $3.75 each way (you only need the Off-Peak ticket).
If you're only coming for ritual, here are the center-city stops, and the
best times to catch the train:
10:17am Market East Station
10:22am Suburban Station
10:26am 30th St Station
If you can't catch that train, or you miss it, the next one is one hour
later:
11:17am Market East Station
11:22am Suburban Station
11:26am 30th St Station
3rd: Take the train to: "Elwyn" (just after Media).
The train is scheduled to arrive in Elwyn at 10:54am (or 11:54am).
Ridley Creek is about 7 miles from the Elwyn station; we should have
shuttles set up for each of those two, though if nobody lets us know
they're taking one, we might not bother... So you should definately
let us know ASAP. :-o
If you're planning on coming and will need a ride from the train station, please RSVP and tell us:
Who is coming (names and ages)?
When do you plan to arrive at Elwyn Station (which train)?
How late can you stay?
Click here if you want to see a complete train schedule (PDF format; requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to open), in case you absolutely need to take a train at a different time (call us/let us know, and we'll see about getting you a ride, if we can!).
