unnamed/unmarked (but paved, not dirt/gravel!) street, directly across
from mile marker 3, which is immediately after Bear Berries & Cream,
which is on your right. |

This turn isn't marked by the State Park; in fact, there's not much to mark it as where you should go at all! So I can't emphasize this enough; you have to go exactly THREE miles before you get there... Do NOT turn left right after passing the Smokey the Bear sign (that's only about half way), don't follow the signs taking you to the park office (if we're camping, we've already checked in; no need to go to the office)... In fact, ignore ANY/ALL signs that the State Park has up! They all lie. [wink]
If it's too dark to see the mile marker signs (you're looking for mile marker 3), and if you didn't note your odometer reading at Four Mile Circle (where 70 & 72 meet), then just watch for Patty's Custard on the right; once you find that, the enterance is across 72 from it...
| Make a left Drive for about 0.2 miles | 33.0 | 0:45 |
|---|
| The road you're on bears right at this point... |
|---|
| Drive for 0.8 miles (about 2 minutes) | 33.8 | 0:48 |
|---|
| Looking on your left, you'll see a fence; behind that fence is the parking lot for Pakim Pond; just look for the enterance, make a left, and you're there! |
|---|
| End at Pakim Pond | 34.2 | 0:49 |
|---|
| If you're looking for the Group Camping site, drive right past Pakim: |
